IDENSITAT 07 is formulated as an observatory of the territory and a laboratory for project development. This is a way of allowing the existence of an action, experimentation and debate fields, regarding the intense urban evolution experimented now in Calaf, Manresa, Mataró or Priorat. In this contexts should be taken into account to articulate the dynamics of an artistic activity which includes critical, analytic or propositional regards involving determined layers of population; or which at the same time permit the formulation of alternatives to perceive, face and share certain specific urban processes taking place in a given time. |

Pleased to meet you Nicolás Dumit With this project the author essays a dynamics of social catalysis through a performance procedure: he proposes to meet all the townspeople during his two-month stay, with the purpose of generating intimate meetings and setting different collective meeting places for its inhabitants and associations. At the project's closure a banquet will be celebrated in a public space, to which all participants will be invited. Moreover a Calaf Photo Album will be published, containing the photographs taken during the whole process by the artist himself and the participants. The aim is to use this book as a souvenir, a gift for future visitors to the town. |

| Spatial Interpretation Objects Carmen Nogueira Intervening in a public space of Calaf which may become an object of mediation between different conflicts related to urban development. Stated with certain degree of spontaneity and in accordance with the results of a previous fieldwork, the object of mediation will interact during a determined time with the social fabric. Afterwards, the visualisation of the use that the inhabitants have made of this public space will favour the interpretation of the conflicts that have been detected and will offer possible ways for solving them. |

After Words Lucía Acedo + Paul Galindo + Ophélie Herranz + Carlos Minguez The aim of this project is to promote an interpretation of Calaf's social fabric. It proposes a relational process with its inhabitants through writing and sending letters. These will be sent to the citizens following different criteria, offering them diverse content and inviting them to develop micro-actions. Action development will take place at the same time that a public exhibition is held and which will be subject to certain variability in accordance with the answers simultaneously obtained from the inhabitants. |

| Fromthestreet F.C. Fernanda Arandia + Katleen Arthen + Pedro Dias + Veronica Mansilla + David Sandoval + Joana Sarmento + Rosanna Vitiello This project proposes a collective research about informal sport practice in Manresa. The process includes the making of a workshop, the creation of a platform for communal investigation, an intervention in public space and the creation of communication devices. |

| Manresa Resonance SINAPSIS [Cristian Año + Lídia Dalmau] Cartography of the territory originating with the study of a specific element: the health service system. The project starts with a research of the different elements that constitute the structure of this system. Later the official data obtained out of this research will be compared to that coming directly from users' experience. At the same time a proposal will be made to carry out a cooperation task with an association linked to the health service system, so as to work on the symbolic appropriation mechanisms of users and on the construction of representations. ¬[project web] |

| Small Community 'soap opera' for teenagers Katalin Soós / Mónika Bálint This project proposes to make a film with teenagers from a recently urbanised quarter in Mataró. The video will be filmed as fiction, following the patterns of a soap opera, although the intention is to base it on aspects of everyday life; finally it will be used as a pressure campaign showing the teenagers' needs and wishes. |

| Telematic Petanque Terrain Roc Parés + Kenneth Russo This is a technological intervention having as a result a prototype of telematic petanque terrain, in which players placed in different towns can compete. The traditional terrain, the boles, the jack and the established rules are to be used. This technological intervention will allow the meeting of players who, in this occasion, are home and away simultaneously. The technological system makes possible to deconstruct the borderline existing between the concepts of home and away within the context of a popular game such as the petanque. |

| E-Idensitat. The Media Laboratory Daniel García Andújar With this project, that has been invited to IDENSITAT 07, different open workshops are proposed in order to draw common lines of content and articulate their diffusion and distribution in the Internet. The goal is to create a platform for discussion, experimentation, diffusion and direct dialogue; thus breaking with the institutions' traditional system of mediation and the ways of the communication industry. The Media Laboratory starts with the difficult definition of the concept ‘permanence' and it is projected towards atemporal and hybrid zones, from where to establish mechanisms of social relationship that will assure the impact of long-term artistic practices and bring their discourse beyond the restricted confines of institutionalised art and the art audience. |
